Amelia | One Year | Ohio Portrait Photography

A sweet baby girl celebrated her first birthday not too long ago. Little Amelia was welcomed into this world with the love of two big twin sisters and two loving parents. We started off with a couple of the family, the girls were quickly distracted by the balloons. I love these photos they captured who these little girls were the day we all ran around on that hill.

I could honestly say I don’t think Amelia has ever smiled for me. Not even once, until Mom picks her up. Then she could light up a room with her little smile and sparkly eyes.

Steph + Brian + the girls | Ohio Engagement Photography

Steph is someone I’ve grown to be good friends with, she is the type of person that holds nothing back. Her stories can make me almost pee my pants from laughing, in fact peeing your pants is a story that actually does exist. I’m not even going to go there now… Steph has a huge heart, a heart that has been filled with love. Brian is Steph’s perfect complement. They are two incredibly laid back people who reassure my faith in happily ever after. It is like they were destined to be together all along, now that the have each other life is falling into place just the way it is supposed to.

We met up on a Sunday afternoon with Brian’s two girls that I adore. Are they not the most adorable kids? I told them they looked very pretty that day, both of them responded with a big smile & an even bigger thank you. Sweet little girls with good manners.

Perfect Sunday with perfect people, I couldn’t love this session anymore.

I met up with this wonderful family on a spring evening not too long ago. They have two of the cutest little girls, Livie & Maddie. As always life with little ones is pretty entertaining & I’m glad we grabbed some good photos before the girls were worn out!

Livie is a girl after my own heart, I adore her sparkly gold shoes! The photo below of Maddie is one of my absolute favorites, she’s a little doll baby.

I’m not exactly sure when I became such good friends with this whole family, but I have. I remember all of Kelly’s kids being younger, coming into Calico for hot chocolates when I worked in high school. Now they have certainly grown up.

My meatball is having a meatball. For any of you who watch Jersey Shore you know what I mean when I call Teria my meatball. For those of you who don’t watch Jersey Shore, good for you. You’re probably a better person for it.

Teria is due in March, I can not wait to meet the little girl she has been carrying around. This little miss is going to be welcomed into the world in the most adorable nursery I have ever seen.

Friend, you are beautiful always but you are extra gorgeous when you are pregnant. I couldn’t be more happy for you!

Little Amelia | Newborn

Trying hard to get caught back up with everything here, so I’m blogging some fairly old session. Including Amelia’s. It’s actually so far behind that I’m doing her six month photos in about a week.

Amelia was welcomed into this crazy hard to understand world by two older twin sisters. I’m not sure why I like this pictures so much. It’s fairly simple. Nothing great. The lighting is average, no one is paying any attention, and there is still toys in the background. It’s just a moment in time stopping what life was like with a brand new baby and two older ones already running around.

Eric, Amber, and Colten

Looking back at these images makes me think back on my friendship with Amber. I can’t tell you when we starting being friends but we have been for quite sometime. Amber is the one who I had the most fun with, the one who invited me over for dinner, the one who sat on my couch just to listen what I had to say. I could not be more happy to see such a happy little family or be more honored to photograph them.

You look so happy in that last image and it warms my heart to see you like that.

When I looked over these pictures to chose which ones to blog, I laughed to myself. This may have been the single most chaotic morning of my life. I actually was running way behind to this session and had to call Jody while I sat pulled over on the side of the road. She laughed as I explained that I was going to be a little late and would be there as soon as I could. This family laughed with me when I finally arrived to their house. I such a great time photographing all your wonderful grandchildren. You have such a beautiful family.

There has been one more added to the bunch since I’ve shot these but we will get to little Henry after bit.
