Amelia | One Year | Ohio Portrait Photography

A sweet baby girl celebrated her first birthday not too long ago. Little Amelia was welcomed into this world with the love of two big twin sisters and two loving parents. We started off with a couple of the family, the girls were quickly distracted by the balloons. I love these photos they captured who these little girls were the day we all ran around on that hill.

I could honestly say I don’t think Amelia has ever smiled for me. Not even once, until Mom picks her up. Then she could light up a room with her little smile and sparkly eyes.

What’s a first birthday without your big sisters bopping you on the head with your balloons and trying to get to the icing off the cake?

Owen >> OHIO CHILDREN PHOTOGRAPHER

Starting off this new blog with one of my favorite little ones. Owen is stinkin’ cute! He belongs to some very good family friends of mine. Right after Owen was born I took his newborn photographs, as you can tell he has changed a lot since then. This is the second time I’ve photographed him. He has developed into quite the handsome little guy. He has a lovable personality and adores his grandpa.

What most people don’t realize is that their babies have never sat or felt grass before I plop them down for pictures. It normally takes a while for them to get used to the feeling. Owen was no exception, he hated it to be honest with you. However he hid his tears for more than one picture.

^That is my absolute favorite image from his session. I don’t know if I am blessed to have babies with the most amazing eyes or what, but I always LOVE my black and whites of them.
